ایدهی برنامه «یک روز با بهمن مقصودلو» سپتامبر گذشته در جشنواره فیلم مونترال و هنگام اولین نمایش جهانی فیلم عباس کیارستمی: یک گزارش پیدا شد. این ایده که بشود نشست و چند فیلم از دکتر بهمن مقصودلو را همراه با خود او در یک روز دید، کاری که کمتر شده و اگر میشد فرصت خوبی بود برای همه. ایده را که مطرح کردم آقای مقصودلو همچون همیشه با روی خوش پذیرفت و قبول کرد یک روز را به مونترال بیاید، فیلمهایش را نمایش بدهد و همراه با مخاطبانش باشد. مجریان و حامیان برنامه چند ماهی را دویدند و تلاش کردند تا همه چیز در خور و شایسته پیش برود.
