Ardeshir Mohasses: The Rebellious Artist screened internationally

After its highly-acclaimed premiere at the Palm Beach Film Festival International Film Festival in April 2013, Ardeshir Mohasses: The Rebellious Artist has been screened at a number of international events to further great success. On September 13, 2013, it was shown at Kanoon Iran at the Central Library, Kensington Town Hall in London, and the following month, it was featured as a part of MESA (Middle East Studies Association of North America) in New Orleans, held from October 13-15.
This year, the film made its way to Paris, where it was shown at INALCO-LANGUES University on May 16. All of these screenings were very well-attended by a mixed audience made up of both those who already knew and loved Mohasses and his work and those who sought to learn more about this important Iranian artist. The London and Paris events were both followed by a Q&A with director/producer Bahman Maghsoudlou.
Among those who attended we can mention: Hedayat Matin Daftari, Nasser Pakdaman, Shahrokh Golestan, Ali Asghar Hadj Seyed Djavadi, Yadollah Royai, Khosrow Shakeri, Soroush Habibi, Bahman Panahi, Siavash Awesta, Ebrahim Makki, Sadreddin Zahed, Iraj Adibzadeh, Mohammad Djalili, Atefeh Gorgin , Homa Barazandeh, Kian Katouzian .
And now, those in North America who were unable to see this film at any of its screenings can do so at home. Pathfinder Home Entertainment has released the film on DVD. It is available at Amazon.com and other DVD stores.
