    Silence Of The Sea has been selected for the competition sections of the 18th International Fort Lauderdale Film Festival and the 52nd International Film Festival Mannheim-Heidelberg in Germany. We expect that the film will be selected for many more festivals throughout the rest of the year.

    Bahman Maghsoudlou made an appearance at the 2002 Moscow Film Festival, serving as both a film critic and film historian, as well as giving a press conference. At the same festival, Wishes Of The Land, the first feature by Mr. Vahid Mousaian, an up-and-coming filmmaker discovered by IFVC, was awarded the Special Jury Prize.
